Sarah joined Venrock as Entrepreneur-In-Residence in September 2016. Most recently, she served as Chief Medical Informatics Officer at the VA, where she designed and launched a nationwide contract with CVS MinuteClinics to provide retail-based care to Veterans. In partnership with Medtronic, she and her team also developed a novel cardiac device surveillance tool. Prior to the VA, she was Founder and CEO of Rx-Text, a health care IT platform that utilized pharmacy data to time communication with patients.
Sarah is also a practicing internist at Stanford Hospital and Clinics. She trained at Massachusetts General Hospital, attended Harvard Medical School, and earned her MBA in Healthcare Administration from Wharton.
